To our community:

Camp Tabarsi seeks to provide rich, golden experiences anchoring young people to their true selves and to a destiny of fulfillment in which their lives become a catalyst to spiritually revive peers and communities. Camp is a community contributing to build a new order for humankind.

Since 1988, Camp Tabarsi has been developing junior youth and their counselors inspired by the guidance of the Universal House of Justice and evolving as we learned from experience. Camp Tabarsi is in a “moving past the founders phase,” reconfiguring itself for ongoing life and service to junior youth. An Executive Committee of five young adults plus founders, Suzan and David Gould, are now guiding and growing Camp Tabarsi. Several subcommittees address specific elements of Camp.

We are purchasing new communication and security technologies to facilitate administration when camp is in operation. We have consulted and committed to expand Camp’s framework and culture to make it more fully responsive to diversity and its riches. This will in turn enrich Camp’s community, a microcosm of what could be, Finally, we look to grow Camp Tabarsi for an ongoing life as an institution, including becoming a non-profit corporation.

We feel you to be a stakeholder in Camp Tabarsi, an important part of its journey in the past but also now and in the future. Last year, coming back after the pandemic, we faced unique financial challenges for which many of you gave us help. We were very grateful and thank you deeply for that help. While a few of the challenges still linger, we ask for your continued support in growing Camp Tabarsi.
